On Monday, I helped draft the department of ICT’s hashtag#performance hashtag#contract for the upcoming fiscal year. This accountability framework aims to enhance public service delivery. Previously, I have served in the departments’ hashtag#PC committee where I had a glimpse of what it took to be audited.

Among many, my main conclusions are:
1) The necessity for departments to cooperate and avoid operating in silos;
2) The establishment of a technical committee aids in the coordination of the various departments
3) The need to connect to existing development plans, such as the Masterplans, ADPs, and CIDPs.
4) Although receiving “bonuses” is not guaranteed for those who score well, the hallmark of excellence is the ability for citizens to monitor their county’s progress and promptly access services.
