Delighted to be at the centre of a global stem camp that focuses on building housing solutions thus fostering a connection with the local and international community. This years’ camp theme is “Connecting the world through Architecture” looks into providing an opportunity to engage and expose students globally to STEM careers with emphasis on Architecture and construction design.

The Architecture Design Kickoff event was an incredible success! 🎉
The conversation highlighted the urgent need for affordable housing in their respective regions, igniting the spark for innovative collaboration. 🔥
Over 100 talented students from diverse countries spanning four different time zones have come together for this remarkable initiative. Their mission: to design affordable spaces that address the housing challenges faced by both the City of Tampa and Makueni County from a global perspective.

With this remarkable convergence of minds and perspectives, we are confident that groundbreaking solutions will emerge, creating a positive impact on countless lives with 10 countries participating this year and I’m glad to witness youth from the county of firsts do it! The two week camp saw the Mayor (Tampa), Florida -Jane Castor attend and in her keynote highlight the fact that over 26000 units are yet to be constructed-sounds familiar? (Kenya housing promise) well the possible opportunities for youth access a platform to offer work/ internships either to learn and hone their skills is always welcome #grassrootinnovation and if your a fun of #TinyHouseNation on Netflix you’ll recognize @ZackGiffin who exposed us to hand drawing and sketching of architectural designs.
