This hashtag#MothersDay should serve as a reminder that one of the most helpful things society can do for mothers is to create environments be it at work or any other that relieve mothers of a great deal of stress and give them greater flexibility in their schedules. This way, mothers can focus on their personal goals rather than feeling pressured to give up their careers because they are mothers.

I am not alone in this issue; I am sure that numerous other mothers also face it. It’s possible that many women are in similar circumstances, battling the many challenges in environments that haven’t fully accepted mothers in STEM fields.

But, Dear Moms, I want you to know that, despite how difficult it is, we are lucky to be living in a period of change. Dreaming and realising those aspirations is attainable now for a lot of us.

Policy stakeholders/companies..What about planning for this autonomy to raising children as some communities live the reality of driverless cars?
